Air carrier X CRJ2 departed runway 36L on hornet 2 SID. Procedure calls for heading 330 degrees at 2 DME. Aircraft turned to 025 degrees as if it had departed runway 36R. Common error occurs at least once a month. Air carrier X came within 1 mi laterally with air carrier Y that departed runway 36R.

Narrative: ACR X CRJ2 DEPARTED RWY 36L ON HORNET 2 SID. PROC CALLS FOR HDG 330 DEGS AT 2 DME. ACFT TURNED TO 025 DEGS AS IF IT HAD DEPARTED RWY 36R. COMMON ERROR OCCURS AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH. ACR X CAME WITHIN 1 MI LATERALLY WITH ACR Y THAT DEPARTED RWY 36R.
