Narrative:

I was on a VFR flight at 4500 ft level; heading 320 degrees with RA's. WX was cavu. Saginaw approach turned me over to msp center. I checked in with msp and was acknowledged in radar contact. While passing grayling airport; a sebound cessna appeared out of nowhere at my 4 O'clock position. I only noticed it when it got into my scanning range. There were 4 souls aboard my aircraft; one in the left rear sleeping; pilot; copilot and right rear passenger all alert and scanning. Pilot of overtaking aircraft dove to the left and cleared below and astern. Had he not turned; aircraft would have rammed us mid-ship.
