Narrative:
Taxiing for takeoff on runway 14 at srq. Cleared to taxi to runway 14 and hold short. While taxiing; I inadvertently crossed the hold short line. An aircraft on final may have had to go around. I believe I mistook the runway entrance marking for an ILS hold short line because of where it was on the taxiway. The runway entrance is on the parallel taxiway; facing a 10 foot high brick wall. Mentally; I did not expect the entrance to be there; and I was actually looking past the entrance line to try and find the runway entrance line at a point 90 degrees to the runway; like at most airports. After ground advised me to taxi back; I realized my mistake. I think this has potential to be a recurring problem as the placement is non-standard. I fly to many airports each month; am highly experienced; and still this fooled me. Workload was low. The taxiway is so wide; when I went back I noticed the runway entrance markers on the sides of the runway were blocked by my canopy post as I got close. Pilots do not expect the runway entrance to be on a parallel taxiway; facing a brick wall.
