Narrative:
We departed with IFR flight plan. I was sitting in the right seat and taking care of communication and navigation; and the pilot sitting on the left seat was flying the airplane. About 15 mins after departure; we noticed that left alternator is failed; and decided to return to ZZZ. I called center and got clearance to ZZZ. After we had runway in sight; we cancel the flight plan with center; continued visual approach. We approached from west of the airport; straight in. We approached all the way to the runway and landed with landing gear up. The airplane stopped on runway heading to the north. The bottom of the airplane and both propellers have been damaged. Nobody got injured. We could have prevented this if we have done gumps check. And also; we should have paid more attention to the warning horn and airplane's attitude.

Title: BE76 EXPERIENCED ALTERNATOR FAILURE AND RETURNED TO DEP ARPT FOR PRECAUTIONARY LNDG. PLTS FAILED TO EXTEND LNDG GEAR ON APCH AND LANDED GEAR UP.
Narrative: WE DEPARTED WITH IFR FLT PLAN. I WAS SITTING IN THE R SEAT AND TAKING CARE OF COM AND NAV; AND THE PLT SITTING ON THE L SEAT WAS FLYING THE AIRPLANE. ABOUT 15 MINS AFTER DEP; WE NOTICED THAT L ALTERNATOR IS FAILED; AND DECIDED TO RETURN TO ZZZ. I CALLED CTR AND GOT CLRNC TO ZZZ. AFTER WE HAD RWY IN SIGHT; WE CANCEL THE FLT PLAN WITH CTR; CONTINUED VISUAL APCH. WE APCHED FROM W OF THE ARPT; STRAIGHT IN. WE APCHED ALL THE WAY TO THE RWY AND LANDED WITH LNDG GEAR UP. THE AIRPLANE STOPPED ON RWY HDG TO THE N. THE BOTTOM OF THE AIRPLANE AND BOTH PROPS HAVE BEEN DAMAGED. NOBODY GOT INJURED. WE COULD HAVE PREVENTED THIS IF WE HAVE DONE GUMPS CHK. AND ALSO; WE SHOULD HAVE PAID MORE ATTN TO THE WARNING HORN AND AIRPLANE'S ATTITUDE.
