Narrative:

Departing teb on the SID for runway 1; captain was flying. He made the right turn after departure and at 1500 ft started left turn missing the 2000 ft altitude limit. He arrested the climb at about 2250 - 2300 ft corrected back to altitude. At about the same time ny departure cleared us up to 4000 ft MSL. Contributing factor was captain new on airplane; first time in teb. We briefed departure prior to departure. Basically new captain at new airport at night after a long day of flying. Corrective action would be to limit duty hours and fly a better departure.
