Narrative:
We were cleared for the ILS runway X at ZZZ. Called the tower at the marker. We had a visual on the airport and the tower instructed us to change runway to runway Y. We joined final for runway Y and were on about 3 mi final when I saw an aircraft taxi into position. I asked the controller if that was an airplane on the runway. He said don't worry; the aircraft will be gone when you land. 10 seconds later we were instructed by the tower to go around. We went around; complied with altitude and headings once we had that from the tower. I declared minimum fuel. I thought about getting vectors back around in ZZZ1; but we were at the point I decided to divert to our alternate of ZZZ. Landed in ZZZ with 3100 pounds of fuel. Our planned reserve fuel was 3050 pounds.

Title: CL60 DIVERTS TO ALTERNATE WITH MINIMUM FUEL FOLLOWING GAR AT DESTINATION DUE TO TRAFFIC ON THE RWY.
Narrative: WE WERE CLRED FOR THE ILS RWY X AT ZZZ. CALLED THE TWR AT THE MARKER. WE HAD A VISUAL ON THE ARPT AND THE TWR INSTRUCTED US TO CHANGE RWY TO RWY Y. WE JOINED FINAL FOR RWY Y AND WERE ON ABOUT 3 MI FINAL WHEN I SAW AN ACFT TAXI INTO POS. I ASKED THE CTLR IF THAT WAS AN AIRPLANE ON THE RWY. HE SAID DON'T WORRY; THE ACFT WILL BE GONE WHEN YOU LAND. 10 SECONDS LATER WE WERE INSTRUCTED BY THE TWR TO GO AROUND. WE WENT AROUND; COMPLIED WITH ALT AND HDGS ONCE WE HAD THAT FROM THE TWR. I DECLARED MINIMUM FUEL. I THOUGHT ABOUT GETTING VECTORS BACK AROUND IN ZZZ1; BUT WE WERE AT THE POINT I DECIDED TO DIVERT TO OUR ALTERNATE OF ZZZ. LANDED IN ZZZ WITH 3100 LBS OF FUEL. OUR PLANNED RESERVE FUEL WAS 3050 LBS.
