Narrative:
Apparently; during takeoff; the fly-away kit was not secured by maintenance personnel at ZZZ. Damage was sustained to the rear bulkhead to the C-1 pit which is also the 'mesc' bulkhead. The cause of the damage was a tire coming out of the unsecured fly-away kit and impacting the bulkhead. Our crew did not hear or was aware that this had occurred. And the fly-away kit is not a preflight item for the crew. We observed nothing abnormal during the flight. Our maintenance discovered this after our arrival. The reason for the late report I was unaware incident until I was notified by the captain of the flight on this date.

Narrative: APPARENTLY; DURING TKOF; THE FLY-AWAY KIT WAS NOT SECURED BY MAINT PERSONNEL AT ZZZ. AND THE FLY-AWAY KIT IS NOT A PREFLT ITEM FOR THE CREW. WE OBSERVED NOTHING ABNORMAL DURING THE FLT. OUR MAINT DISCOVERED THIS AFTER OUR ARR. THE REASON FOR THE LATE RPT I WAS UNAWARE INCIDENT UNTIL I WAS NOTIFIED BY THE CAPT OF THE FLT ON THIS DATE.
