Narrative:
I declared an emergency and diverted to ZZZ due to burning and cracking in the right windshield. The aircraft was met by united states customs officers who quarantined the aircraft and ordered myself; passenger; and the rest of the crew to immediately proceed to a secure customs area. There was no opportunity during the process to complete a postflt inspection and make an aircraft maintenance log entry. Once cleared by customs; crew scheduling ordered me on the next flight to ZZZ.
