Narrative:

Right forward windshield arced with moderate smoke and noise. Turned off associated window heat. Accomplished window arcing checklist; forward outflow override checklist and cockpit smoke and fume elimination checklist. Oxygen masks donned etc. Window showed small burn spot about the size of a quarter. Wiring melted through. WX in ZZZ was -fz rain and forecast was for major winter storm for remainder of day. Contacted dispatch; maintenance and duty manager. Note: satcom was unreadable until fleet tech center was removed from loop; then communication was clear. Agreed to continue to destination with VFR ZZZ2 as alternate. Approach and landing normal.
