Narrative:
As we were configuring on final for landing; we received a caution light for a flap malfunction. We went around in order to assess the situation. Go around was uneventful. We entered the downwind and took care of the checklist items. We declared an emergency since we had flaps at 20 degrees and our fuel state was going to be tight if we did not get down soon. I think we were given priority over a couple of other airplanes in the pattern. Landing was uneventful and we taxied to parking. Maintenance is determining the cause of the problem. Supplemental information from acn 766374: I was concerned about our fuel state at this time so I added minimum fuel to my radio call to approach.
