Narrative:
Aircraft arrived with aft pob (passenger oxygen bottle) used. Had what I thought was an interchangeable; replacement bottle on zone room shelf. They looked identical. Fit in same location holder. After flight departs; entering paperwork generated 'forced part' screen in computer system. Researching ipc found that bottle placed aboard not listed as applicable to aircraft (B777 only). Contacted supervisor; who in turn contacted maintenance control. Aircraft to arrive XXX; then turn to YYY. Maintenance control to set up bottle to be right and right'ed at XXX. Was second day of overtime available. First day was called at XA15; at work by XB30. Worked up to XQ00. Second day started at XA00. Overtime was offered on dayshift; I normally work swing-shift. At time of incident; was on regular shift; after working overtime previous shift. Fatigue.
