Narrative:
We were originally routed to fly the northeast arrival into ZZZ but due to the WX over the arrival; we were rerouted to fly the southeast arrival. While on that arrival; the arrival was shut down and we were rerouted to fly the southwest arrival. With the rerouting; our fuel load became a consideration and as a result; we contacted dispatch and requested a diversion airport based on our current location and the directional movement of the WX. We informed approach that we would not have sufficient fuel to fly the route that was issued to us and that we would require shorter routing. Before continuing to ZZZ; we asked if the WX had passed the airport and if it would affect our routing to ZZZ. With that information; we decided to proceed into ZZZ versus diverting to another location. Along the way; we may have received priority handling due our fuel considerations.

Title: A CRJ200 REROUTED BECAUSE OF DEST WX CONSIDERED DIVERTING. CREW REQUESTED ROUTING WITH FUEL CONSIDERATION AND WAS CLRED TO DEST AFTER WX PASSED.
Narrative: WE WERE ORIGINALLY ROUTED TO FLY THE NE ARR INTO ZZZ BUT DUE TO THE WX OVER THE ARR; WE WERE REROUTED TO FLY THE SE ARR. WHILE ON THAT ARR; THE ARR WAS SHUT DOWN AND WE WERE REROUTED TO FLY THE SW ARR. WITH THE REROUTING; OUR FUEL LOAD BECAME A CONSIDERATION AND AS A RESULT; WE CONTACTED DISPATCH AND REQUESTED A DIVERSION ARPT BASED ON OUR CURRENT LOCATION AND THE DIRECTIONAL MOVEMENT OF THE WX. WE INFORMED APCH THAT WE WOULD NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT FUEL TO FLY THE RTE THAT WAS ISSUED TO US AND THAT WE WOULD REQUIRE SHORTER ROUTING. BEFORE CONTINUING TO ZZZ; WE ASKED IF THE WX HAD PASSED THE ARPT AND IF IT WOULD AFFECT OUR ROUTING TO ZZZ. WITH THAT INFO; WE DECIDED TO PROCEED INTO ZZZ VERSUS DIVERTING TO ANOTHER LOCATION. ALONG THE WAY; WE MAY HAVE RECEIVED PRIORITY HANDLING DUE OUR FUEL CONSIDERATIONS.
