Narrative:

At sow after taxi in from landing on runway 6; via back taxi on intersecting runway. After arriving at the passenger terminal; an airport employee informed my first officer; that the asphalt had been removed between the two runways two months prior; and we had taxied over dirt. There were no NOTAMS on our dispatch release. There was two inches of fresh snow covering the entire airport. There were no signs marking off the dirt; and the airport diagram still depicted the two runways connecting. The first officer checked the chart prior to making the turn off of the runway. The taxi in appeared normal. There was no way to notice the break in the asphalt; visually; with the fresh snow.
