Narrative:
On approach to runway 13 at leesburg international airport (lee); inadvertently lined up for what was thought to be part of the VASI system. After go around; and safely landing on runway 21; the red lights turned out to be a red illuminated sign at a local FBO. Reporter advised that the visual approach; made shortly after dusk; was inadvertently aligned with the parallel taxiway some 600 feet to the left of the runway itself.
