Narrative:
Cessna single engine cleared for runway 29 landed runway 30L. No loss of separation. Pilot called tower and spoke with atm. Item closed. This was clearly a pilot deviation; but; it was not processed in accordance with FAA orders/regulations. It was 'swept under the rug' in an effort to deflect attention towards san jose; which is on the 'list' for airports with high rates of runway incursions. Poor runway markings and pilots' awareness of airport layout. REIL's to be installed runway 29 sometime in 2008 after being recommended over 8 yrs ago by runway safety team.
