Narrative:
The following is a list of the sequence of events during landing experimental exhibition warbird. Upon reaching abeam the numbers for landing put gear down made a landing radio call. While turning base to final put flaps down and made another radio call. On final made gumps check and moved landing gear safety latch into locked position. On touchdown and rollout noticed right wing going down abnormally; similar to a strong crosswind gust. Executed cross control maneuver with no effect as right wing continued to drop. At this point the aircraft crossed the runway to the right side into the grass between the runway and taxiway. Once entering the grass which was very wet the aircraft came to a stop after sliding another 1/2 turn to the right. Magnetos off and executed emergency exit procedure. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter clarified that the right main landing gear did collapse during the landing rollout; and by the time it was discovered nothing could be done.
