Narrative:
I was working radar flight data/associate while also the facility controller in charge. I received a landline call from nashville AFSS looking for an overdue military aircraft en route. I took down the aircraft information and confirmed that the inquiry was from nashville AFSS and commented that I didn't know how to get in touch with nashville AFSS. The AFSS specialist asked if I had a dial code for anniston AFSS. I replied that I did; and he told me to use that one. I started to research the aircraft but then got a call from anniston AFSS calling me to look for the same aircraft. The line was very intermittent but I tried to convey that I was already researching the aircraft. When I determined that we had not worked the aircraft; I called anniston AFSS as instructed by nashville AFSS and tried to tell them the results of my research; but the line was not working properly. I then received a call on the commercial phone line from contractor AFSS saying that they had been unable to copy me on the other line. After some discussion; I think I determined that the same AFSS specialist had idented himself to me as nashville AFSS; anniston AFSS; and contractor AFSS and was apparently located at leesburg AFSS in virginia. I was really too busy to be trying to sort all of this out. The facility needs to pick a name and use it. If there was more than 1 facility involved; I still don't know who I talked to.
