Narrative:
Departed clt runway 36L on hornet departure. The required turn to 330 degrees was not in database and I missed it. We continued flying 003 degrees until given a heading of 330 degrees by departure control. No traffic conflict occurred. Rushed cockpit/departure preparation; conflict resolution issues with passenger problems and complacency caused me to miss the fact that a required turn in the departure was not in the FMGC database.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: AN A320 FAILED TO TURN TO HDG 330 DEGS ON THE CLT HORNET DEP BECAUSE THE FMGC DATABASE DID NOT HAVE THE TURN AND THE CREW MISSED THE OMISSION.
Narrative: DEPARTED CLT RWY 36L ON HORNET DEP. THE REQUIRED TURN TO 330 DEGS WAS NOT IN DATABASE AND I MISSED IT. WE CONTINUED FLYING 003 DEGS UNTIL GIVEN A HDG OF 330 DEGS BY DEP CTL. NO TFC CONFLICT OCCURRED. RUSHED COCKPIT/DEP PREPARATION; CONFLICT RESOLUTION ISSUES WITH PAX PROBS AND COMPLACENCY CAUSED ME TO MISS THE FACT THAT A REQUIRED TURN IN THE DEP WAS NOT IN THE FMGC DATABASE.
