Narrative:
Pulled flight plan in operations showing laxx departure. During busy preflight duties (maintenance; federal air marshals; flight attendant and passenger issues) we got our pre departure clearance and did not notice the change in departure procedure to the holtz departure. After takeoff; laxx departure cleared us to a fix on the holtz departure. We responded that we were not on the holtz departure. After some confusion; we were given a heading to fly. Later; we noticed the revised segment on the pre departure clearance. Supplemental information from acn 782546: during early morning flight preparation I received the flight plan with the LAXX5 departure. During preflight while dealing with maintenance; fams and cabin issues; we received pre departure clearance with flight plan segment but misread the revised segment containing the HOLTZ9 departure. We were questioned by departure control as to what departure we were flying and were given headings to trm with no in-flight issues.
