Narrative:
Captain rang for cabin attendants. All flight attendants got on phone. We were told we lost hydraulics on aircraft right. But they thought the wheels would come down manually; and we were turning back to ZZZ. Captain gave us pertinent information but said we did not need to do a planned emergency checklist. The wheel well doors would drag upon landing but it should be fine. Flight attendants made sure passenger knew where their emergency exits were; prepared the cabin; landed safely.
