Narrative:
Practicing touch-and-goes; I was acting as a flight instructor with a student. Student took more time than normal to clean up the aircraft after a touch-and-go. He began to add power to initiate the takeoff. I then feared that I would not be able to avoid the terrain and trees on the departure end of the runway. I immediately took controls from the student while becoming airborne. I then pulled out the throttle and touched down. Once again; now without enough runway to stop; I overran the runway and avoided obstacles. The aircraft stopped and I shut down the engine. There were no injuries and no damage to property. The problem arose because of a higher GS which led to a touchdown further down the runway. My failure to emphasize to the student the importance of cleaning up the aircraft as soon as possible during touch-and-goes. Also due to my failure to stop and apply brakes sooner.

Title: INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT REJECT BELATED TKOF FROM TOUCH-AND-GO DUE TO DELAY IN RECONFIGURING AND RISING OBSTACLES IN THE TKOF PATH.
Narrative: PRACTICING TOUCH-AND-GOES; I WAS ACTING AS A FLT INSTRUCTOR WITH A STUDENT. STUDENT TOOK MORE TIME THAN NORMAL TO CLEAN UP THE ACFT AFTER A TOUCH-AND-GO. HE BEGAN TO ADD PWR TO INITIATE THE TKOF. I THEN FEARED THAT I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO AVOID THE TERRAIN AND TREES ON THE DEP END OF THE RWY. I IMMEDIATELY TOOK CTLS FROM THE STUDENT WHILE BECOMING AIRBORNE. I THEN PULLED OUT THE THROTTLE AND TOUCHED DOWN. ONCE AGAIN; NOW WITHOUT ENOUGH RWY TO STOP; I OVERRAN THE RWY AND AVOIDED OBSTACLES. THE ACFT STOPPED AND I SHUT DOWN THE ENG. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND NO DAMAGE TO PROPERTY. THE PROB AROSE BECAUSE OF A HIGHER GS WHICH LED TO A TOUCHDOWN FURTHER DOWN THE RWY. MY FAILURE TO EMPHASIZE TO THE STUDENT THE IMPORTANCE OF CLEANING UP THE ACFT ASAP DURING TOUCH-AND-GOES. ALSO DUE TO MY FAILURE TO STOP AND APPLY BRAKES SOONER.
