Narrative:
I was given taxi instructions of 'taxi to runway 6R via txwys J; west; hold short at taxiway south.' taxiway west does not take you to taxiway south; and I did not notice this till the ground controller told me to hold short of runway 6R followed immediately by 'back-taxi on runway 6R and turn left at the first intersection.' I don't know if I had already entered the runway or not. There was no other aircraft on runway 6R so I don't think there was ever true imminent danger. I believe the cause of the problem is that I have been to this airport/gate numerous times and was too comfortable with the situation. Because of this; I did not review the taxi clearance as I should have. The best way for me to avoid this in the future is to review the taxi clearance fully before I begin to taxi.

Narrative: I WAS GIVEN TAXI INSTRUCTIONS OF 'TAXI TO RWY 6R VIA TXWYS J; W; HOLD SHORT AT TXWY S.' TXWY W DOES NOT TAKE YOU TO TXWY S; AND I DID NOT NOTICE THIS TILL THE GND CTLR TOLD ME TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 6R FOLLOWED IMMEDIATELY BY 'BACK-TAXI ON RWY 6R AND TURN L AT THE FIRST INTXN.' I DON'T KNOW IF I HAD ALREADY ENTERED THE RWY OR NOT. THERE WAS NO OTHER ACFT ON RWY 6R SO I DON'T THINK THERE WAS EVER TRUE IMMINENT DANGER. I BELIEVE THE CAUSE OF THE PROB IS THAT I HAVE BEEN TO THIS ARPT/GATE NUMEROUS TIMES AND WAS TOO COMFORTABLE WITH THE SITUATION. BECAUSE OF THIS; I DID NOT REVIEW THE TAXI CLRNC AS I SHOULD HAVE. THE BEST WAY FOR ME TO AVOID THIS IN THE FUTURE IS TO REVIEW THE TAXI CLRNC FULLY BEFORE I BEGIN TO TAXI.
