Narrative:

Overheard call to maintenance control from pilot that he was getting stall warning and stick shaker and needed to return. He was worried he might get pusher. Maintenance just happened to have technical representative on phone and told pilot he would not. Supervisor talked to pilot and worked out descent rate and told him he would be overweight but not structurally. Pilot contacted airport and declared emergency to have trucks standing by. Aircraft landed safely.
