Narrative:
On takeoff roll; we got an ECAM; automatic brake fault -- brakes released; and aborted the takeoff at approximately 70 KTS. We cleared the runway; set the parking brake; and referenced the flight manual and called maintenance. The left brake truck temperatures reached 585 degrees on the outboard brake and remained at 180 degrees on the inboard brake. After concurring with maintenance; we returned to the gate; chocked the mains; and released the parking brake. Maintenance took the aircraft OTS.

Title: A320 REJECTS TKOF WHEN AUTO BRAKE FAULT IS ANNUNCIATED ON ECAM. HIGH OUTBOARD LEFT BRAKE TEMP SHOWS EVIDENCE OF DRAGGING BRAKE.
Narrative: ON TKOF ROLL; WE GOT AN ECAM; AUTO BRAKE FAULT -- BRAKES RELEASED; AND ABORTED THE TKOF AT APPROX 70 KTS. WE CLRED THE RWY; SET THE PARKING BRAKE; AND REFED THE FLT MANUAL AND CALLED MAINT. THE L BRAKE TRUCK TEMPS REACHED 585 DEGS ON THE OUTBOARD BRAKE AND REMAINED AT 180 DEGS ON THE INBOARD BRAKE. AFTER CONCURRING WITH MAINT; WE RETURNED TO THE GATE; CHOCKED THE MAINS; AND RELEASED THE PARKING BRAKE. MAINT TOOK THE ACFT OTS.
