Narrative:
Without notifying the airbus pilots; the company has added numerous new airports to the FMGC database that show up on the map display when the airport function is selected. In areas where there are many airports; they overlap on the screen and are impossible to read on any range setting. Also; some of the airports are not listed in the airports section of the fom. This is a safety factor because in the event of diversion; I need accurate and readable information.
