Narrative:
Configured for landing; cleared for landing; and on localizer/GS at approximately 1300 ft AGL; EICAS brake l-hand fault and brake r-hand fault occurred with autobrake kickoff. Pilot monitoring referred to QRH and determined time was required for non-normal checklist. Pilot monitoring (captain) called for go around with tower. Coordination with departure/arrival; informed them of the nature of the problem; requested delay vectors to accomplish checklists. While executing checklist; it was decided that declaring an emergency was appropriate for the reduced braking capability. Standard information given to ATC and stated to 'expect normal landing with ability to taxi to gate;' flight attendant briefed (also to expect normal landing); passenger briefed by captain. Completed non-normal checklists; experienced normal landing and turnoff. Brakes were effective yet had felt 'soft.' during taxi in; outboard brakes indicated cold while inboard brakes became amber. Normal taxi to gate.

Title: EMB190 FLT CREW REPORTS EICAS LH & RH FAULT AT 1300 FEET ON APPROACH. GAR INITIATED; QRH COMPLIED WITH; FOLLOWED BY UNEVENTFUL LANDING.
Narrative: CONFIGURED FOR LNDG; CLRED FOR LNDG; AND ON LOC/GS AT APPROX 1300 FT AGL; EICAS BRAKE L-HAND FAULT AND BRAKE R-HAND FAULT OCCURRED WITH AUTOBRAKE KICKOFF. PLT MONITORING REFERRED TO QRH AND DETERMINED TIME WAS REQUIRED FOR NON-NORMAL CHKLIST. PLT MONITORING (CAPT) CALLED FOR GAR WITH TWR. COORD WITH DEP/ARR; INFORMED THEM OF THE NATURE OF THE PROB; REQUESTED DELAY VECTORS TO ACCOMPLISH CHKLISTS. WHILE EXECUTING CHKLIST; IT WAS DECIDED THAT DECLARING AN EMER WAS APPROPRIATE FOR THE REDUCED BRAKING CAPABILITY. STANDARD INFO GIVEN TO ATC AND STATED TO 'EXPECT NORMAL LNDG WITH ABILITY TO TAXI TO GATE;' FLT ATTENDANT BRIEFED (ALSO TO EXPECT NORMAL LNDG); PAX BRIEFED BY CAPT. COMPLETED NON-NORMAL CHKLISTS; EXPERIENCED NORMAL LNDG AND TURNOFF. BRAKES WERE EFFECTIVE YET HAD FELT 'SOFT.' DURING TAXI IN; OUTBOARD BRAKES INDICATED COLD WHILE INBOARD BRAKES BECAME AMBER. NORMAL TAXI TO GATE.
