Narrative:
I switched to unicom after receiving ASOS from ZZZ. I called traffic and told them 2500 ft; 5 mi to the north. At 3 mi from ZZZ; I called 3 mi; 2500 ft. Just then; I noticed a beech bonanza A33 at my 3 O'clock position; same altitude; peeling off hard to the left to avoid me. I initiated a climb (20-30 degrees nose-up) thinking I was going to be hit. A33 (not sure of the tail number) passed below and behind by less than 100 yards; and did not make a radio call at ZZZ. I continued on at 2700 ft; overflew ZZZ and turned 150 degrees to go direct to ZZZ1. I did not see that traffic in part because of the wing strut; and he did not make any courtesy calls. The A33 presumably landed at ZZZ2. Near miss by about 100 yards laterally by 50 ft vertically. Other pilot wore a blue shirt and what looked like aviator ray bans; and needs to wash his plane! It was that close.
