Narrative:
Flight operated normally with cruise altitude FL350 for duration of flight. Initial descent from FL350; with throttles partially retarded (consistent with 1000 FPM descent) initially. About FL340; throttles retarded to idle and about that time master caution engine light and #1 engine low idle light illuminated. Descent profile was 0.74 mach/310 KTS; 310 KTS per ATC. Engine #1 was observed to have windmilling RPM; N1; N2; and oil quantity normal -- consistent with the use of the engine start in-flight procedure. Start initiation (fuel lever to 'idle') at about FL240/310 KTS was successful with captain as PF and PF PNF. Remainder of flight uneventful.

Title: B737 FLT CREW REPORTS ENGINE FLAMEOUT PASSING FL340 AND SUCCESSFUL RELIGHT PASSING FL240. REMAINDER OF FLIGHT NORMAL.
Narrative: FLT OPERATED NORMALLY WITH CRUISE ALT FL350 FOR DURATION OF FLT. INITIAL DSCNT FROM FL350; WITH THROTTLES PARTIALLY RETARDED (CONSISTENT WITH 1000 FPM DSCNT) INITIALLY. ABOUT FL340; THROTTLES RETARDED TO IDLE AND ABOUT THAT TIME MASTER CAUTION ENG LIGHT AND #1 ENG LOW IDLE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. DSCNT PROFILE WAS 0.74 MACH/310 KTS; 310 KTS PER ATC. ENG #1 WAS OBSERVED TO HAVE WINDMILLING RPM; N1; N2; AND OIL QUANTITY NORMAL -- CONSISTENT WITH THE USE OF THE ENG START INFLT PROC. START INITIATION (FUEL LEVER TO 'IDLE') AT ABOUT FL240/310 KTS WAS SUCCESSFUL WITH CAPT AS PF AND PF PNF. REMAINDER OF FLT UNEVENTFUL.
