Narrative:

Flight operated normally with cruise altitude FL350 for duration of flight. Initial descent from FL350; with throttles partially retarded (consistent with 1000 FPM descent) initially. About FL340; throttles retarded to idle and about that time master caution engine light and #1 engine low idle light illuminated. Descent profile was 0.74 mach/310 KTS; 310 KTS per ATC. Engine #1 was observed to have windmilling RPM; N1; N2; and oil quantity normal -- consistent with the use of the engine start in-flight procedure. Start initiation (fuel lever to 'idle') at about FL240/310 KTS was successful with captain as PF and PF PNF. Remainder of flight uneventful.
