Narrative:
While descending on the SKETR3 arrival; we got a last minute runway change from runway 30L to runway 35. The change was noted and put in to the FMC; however a portion of the arrival past shonn dropped out of the legs page. We did not notice this deletion at first. The procedure required a 120 degree heading after passing the last point on the arrival. Because that point was no longer displayed; we turned to the 120 degree heading after shonn instead of monky. We noticed the problem while in the turn and started to query ATC; but we received a heading before we could acknowledge our mistake. The turn was cleared as we saw no conflicting traffic. Once back on course; the approach and landing were normal.
