Narrative:
On normal VMC climb out from ZZZ we lost both map displays. I was PF; captain told me that both FMGC's had locked up. This was followed by cabin pressure ECAM. We completed ECAM for manual set of cabin pressurization. We were unable to get FMGC's to respond so we; upon agreement; notified ZOA that we needed vectors and would like to return to ZZZ. We made an uneventful landing after manually tuning ILS and setting speeds. Supplemental information from acn 790103: approximately FL180 in climb out of ZZZ; received following indications: map not available on both sides; please wait on both FMGC's; cabin pressure ECAM indicating manual climb altitude setting necessary; autoplt disengaged. Both FMGC's failed. We notified ATC of need to return to ZZZ and we were negative RNAV capable. Manually tuned ILS frequencys and received radar vectors to ZZZ followed by the visual. Manually set reference speed based upon fuel weight; zero fuel weight and referencing the aircraft manual landing section.

Title: A320 FLT CREW REPORTS DUAL FMGC FAILURE PASSING FL180 ON CLIMB OUT AND ELECTS TO RETURN TO ZZZ WHEN FUNCTION CANNOT BE REGAINED.
Narrative: ON NORMAL VMC CLBOUT FROM ZZZ WE LOST BOTH MAP DISPLAYS. I WAS PF; CAPT TOLD ME THAT BOTH FMGC'S HAD LOCKED UP. WE MADE AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG AFTER MANUALLY TUNING ILS AND SETTING SPDS. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 790103: APPROX FL180 IN CLBOUT OF ZZZ; RECEIVED FOLLOWING INDICATIONS: MAP NOT AVAILABLE ON BOTH SIDES; PLEASE WAIT ON BOTH FMGC'S; CABIN PRESSURE ECAM INDICATING MANUAL CLB ALT SETTING NECESSARY; AUTOPLT DISENGAGED. BOTH FMGC'S FAILED. WE NOTIFIED ATC OF NEED TO RETURN TO ZZZ AND WE WERE NEGATIVE RNAV CAPABLE. MANUALLY TUNED ILS FREQS AND RECEIVED RADAR VECTORS TO ZZZ FOLLOWED BY THE VISUAL. MANUALLY SET REF SPD BASED UPON FUEL WT; ZERO FUEL WT AND REFING THE ACFT MANUAL LNDG SECTION.
