Narrative:
While on the CQY6 arrival procedure to dfw we were initially given runway 17C; which was changed to fly over the top for runway 18R and then shortly after was again changed to runway 13R. This caused confusion as to what speed we were to maintain since we were taken off the CQY6 arrival procedure. All this happened at 11000 ft while talking to approach control. Supplemental information from acn 790296: while on the CQY6 arrival into dfw our runway was changed from runway 17C to runway 18R then to runway 13R; and we were given a heading to overfly the field. We were at 11000 ft MSL and were doing 250 KTS. We were not instructed to slow with the heading. While on the heading ATC asked us to say our speed and said we should have been at 210 KTS. We then immediately slowed to 210 KTS and complied. The event occurred because of confusion in ATC instructions and the fact that we were not told to slow to 210 KTS when given the heading to cross over dfw.

Title: ACR FLT CREW REPORTS BEING TAKEN OFF THE CQY6 ARRIVAL AND GIVEN VECTORS AND A RWY CHANGE. FLT CREW IS LATER ADMONISHED FOR NOT SLOWING TO 210 KTS PER THE ARRIVAL.
Narrative: WHILE ON THE CQY6 ARRIVAL PROCEDURE TO DFW WE WERE INITIALLY GIVEN RWY 17C; WHICH WAS CHANGED TO FLY OVER THE TOP FOR RWY 18R AND THEN SHORTLY AFTER WAS AGAIN CHANGED TO RWY 13R. THIS CAUSED CONFUSION AS TO WHAT SPEED WE WERE TO MAINTAIN SINCE WE WERE TAKEN OFF THE CQY6 ARRIVAL PROCEDURE. ALL THIS HAPPENED AT 11000 FT WHILE TALKING TO APPROACH CONTROL. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 790296: WHILE ON THE CQY6 ARRIVAL INTO DFW OUR RUNWAY WAS CHANGED FROM RWY 17C TO RWY 18R THEN TO RWY 13R; AND WE WERE GIVEN A HEADING TO OVERFLY THE FIELD.
