Narrative:
Headsets designed to reduce cockpit noise are in very common use. In many training aircraft the stall warning audio is not piped into the headset; thereby defeating the purpose of the stall warning. Aircraft should be modified to generate audio stall warning tone in headset.

Title: PVT PLT OF C172 STATES THE STALL WARNING HORN IS DIFFICULT TO HEAR OVER THE SPEAKER WITH HEADSETS ON.
Narrative: HEADSETS DESIGNED TO REDUCE COCKPIT NOISE ARE IN VERY COMMON USE. IN MANY TRAINING ACFT THE STALL WARNING AUDIO IS NOT PIPED INTO THE HEADSET; THEREBY DEFEATING THE PURPOSE OF THE STALL WARNING. ACFT SHOULD BE MODIFIED TO GENERATE AUDIO STALL WARNING TONE IN HEADSET.
