Narrative:
Before departure the first officer briefed the loop four departure. After takeoff the departure controller told us to go directly to pevee. We told the controller we were on the loop four. He said; 'they should have given you the oshnn three.' I checked the pre departure clearance and we had been given an amendment; the oshnn three. The first officer missed the amendment and I did not catch it.

Title: AN ACR DEPARTING LAX MISSED PDC CHANGES TO THE FLT PLAN AND FLEW THE WRONG SID.
Narrative: BEFORE DEPARTURE THE FIRST OFFICER BRIEFED THE LOOP FOUR DEPARTURE. AFTER TAKEOFF THE DEPARTURE CONTROLLER TOLD US TO GO DIRECTLY TO PEVEE. WE TOLD THE CONTROLLER WE WERE ON THE LOOP FOUR. HE SAID; 'THEY SHOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU THE OSHNN THREE.' I CHECKED THE PDC AND WE HAD BEEN GIVEN AN AMENDMENT; THE OSHNN THREE. THE FIRST OFFICER MISSED THE AMENDMENT AND I DID NOT CATCH IT.
