Narrative:
Pre departure clearance clearance dfw BLECO2 (BLECO2.bleco) irw. Loading the gfms unit; irw was entered as direct to instead of transition. After bleco intersection; we proceeded direct to irw instead of zemma intersection that did not display on our HSI. Climbing out of around 17000 ft; ZFW asked if we had been cleared direct to irw? I responded that we were proceeding direct to irw based on the pre departure clearance clearance received. I read back the clearance we had in hand. ATC replied to proceed direct to deckk intersection then direct irw. No other action was taken. Flight continued on uneventful. After action notes. I did not load the gfms unit; however I was responsible for checking the route against the ATC clearance which I did. The RNAV SID chart; depicts zemma transition as 'ATC assigned' -- zemma intersection was not included in my ATC clearance nor was it assigned; but it was on our company generated flight plan. Just a point of possible confusion that obviously happened here. I do acknowledge that zemma transition is on the departure. Factors affecting the quality of human performance. Fatigue may be a contributing factor; but not the primary; we had been up over 10 hours and had flown over 7 hours up to that point that day. Just a thought; when the destination and the transition names; ie; irw -- will rogers VORTAC and okc -- will rogers world airport are similar; an additional 'fix name' in the pre departure clearance clearance could help eliminate any unnecessary confusion. Example -- dfw BLECO2 (BLECO2.bleco) zemma irw.

Title: AN ACFT ON THE DFW BLECO TWO RNAV DEP FLEW BLECO INTXN TO IRW BYPASSING ZEMMA BECAUSE IT WAS NOT ON THE PDC AND NOT ATC ASSIGNED EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ON THE ACR FLT PLAN.
Narrative: PDC CLRNC DFW BLECO2 (BLECO2.BLECO) IRW. LOADING THE GFMS UNIT; IRW WAS ENTERED AS DIRECT TO INSTEAD OF TRANSITION. AFTER BLECO INTXN; WE PROCEEDED DIRECT TO IRW INSTEAD OF ZEMMA INTXN THAT DID NOT DISPLAY ON OUR HSI. CLBING OUT OF AROUND 17000 FT; ZFW ASKED IF WE HAD BEEN CLRED DIRECT TO IRW? I RESPONDED THAT WE WERE PROCEEDING DIRECT TO IRW BASED ON THE PDC CLRNC RECEIVED. I READ BACK THE CLRNC WE HAD IN HAND. ATC REPLIED TO PROCEED DIRECT TO DECKK INTXN THEN DIRECT IRW. NO OTHER ACTION WAS TAKEN. FLT CONTINUED ON UNEVENTFUL. AFTER ACTION NOTES. I DID NOT LOAD THE GFMS UNIT; HOWEVER I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR CHKING THE RTE AGAINST THE ATC CLRNC WHICH I DID. THE RNAV SID CHART; DEPICTS ZEMMA TRANSITION AS 'ATC ASSIGNED' -- ZEMMA INTXN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN MY ATC CLRNC NOR WAS IT ASSIGNED; BUT IT WAS ON OUR COMPANY GENERATED FLT PLAN. JUST A POINT OF POSSIBLE CONFUSION THAT OBVIOUSLY HAPPENED HERE. I DO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ZEMMA TRANSITION IS ON THE DEP. FACTORS AFFECTING THE QUALITY OF HUMAN PERFORMANCE. FATIGUE MAY BE A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR; BUT NOT THE PRIMARY; WE HAD BEEN UP OVER 10 HRS AND HAD FLOWN OVER 7 HRS UP TO THAT POINT THAT DAY. JUST A THOUGHT; WHEN THE DEST AND THE TRANSITION NAMES; IE; IRW -- WILL ROGERS VORTAC AND OKC -- WILL ROGERS WORLD ARPT ARE SIMILAR; AN ADDITIONAL 'FIX NAME' IN THE PDC CLRNC COULD HELP ELIMINATE ANY UNNECESSARY CONFUSION. EXAMPLE -- DFW BLECO2 (BLECO2.BLECO) ZEMMA IRW.
