Narrative:
Cessna abc was on takeoff through approximately 50 ft AGL. Cessna xyw requested departure clearance. Controller issued taxi instructions, 'position and hold' believing cessna xyw was another skyhawk at approach end of runway 35L. Cessna xyw pulled onto runway at midfield below cessna abc. Supplemental information from acn 627377: requested intersection A3 for takeoff on ground, changed to A4. Ground said he would pass it on. Was cleared to position and hold. Read back clearance, looked and after position and hold, another aircraft passed overhead. Controller apologized. No further contact.
