Narrative:
The coordinates in the navigation database for squad are incorrect. We were cleared direct to squad. Ny asked us to say our squad coordinates. I read the coordinates off the flight plan. He said those were the correct coordinates. However; we were actually flying to a point 5 miles off course due to the incorrect coordinates in the navigation database. We called ny back and told him that we were in error; and our navigation database coordinates were incorrect although our flight plan coordinates were correct. There was a NOTAM that warned us of this discrepancy on our flight plan; but I failed to note that squad was on our flight plan.
