Narrative:

At 11000 ft approximately 35 NM southeast of ZZZ a strong electrical burning smell was noticed in the cockpit and cabin. After oxygen and establishing communications; the smoke; cabin/cockpit qrc was performed; along with declaring an emergency. Approach control gave us priority handling; and we safely landed on runway 10. It was noticed from the flight attendants that the severity of the smell was reduced after we ran the checklist. The aircraft had the following maintenance deferred items: 1) autothrust inoperative; 2) air bleed maintenance status message; 3) fcdc 2 inoperative; and 4) left cabin recirculation fan inoperative.
