Narrative:

B757 arriving at gate in ZZZ. Our tailored airport page does not indicate that the B757 should use the broken parking line for any gates in this terminal. Given gate X for parking; I assumed the solid line was correct -- especially since the broken line is designated Y. There was a gpu parked in the solid line which we would have hit if we had used that line. We called ramp control to confirm the solid line and were surprised to be told to park on the broken line for gate Y. Automated parking guided us to that line but there was a delay and confusion due to lack of information on the tailored airport page.
