Narrative:
A new race track for horses has been built under the ILS to runway 3R. The lights for the parking lot are very bright and not shaded from approaching aircraft. Also the stable lights are arranged in a way to be mistaken for approach lights. In a low approach these could be mistaken for airport environment. Lights need to be shaded.

Title: ACR PLT CITES CONCERNS OVER UNSHADED LIGHTS ON APCH TO DTW; RWY 3R; WHICH MAY BE MISTAKEN FOR APCH LIGHTS IN LOWER VISIBILITY SITUATIONS.
Narrative: A NEW RACE TRACK FOR HORSES HAS BEEN BUILT UNDER THE ILS TO RWY 3R. THE LIGHTS FOR THE PARKING LOT ARE VERY BRIGHT AND NOT SHADED FROM APCHING ACFT. ALSO THE STABLE LIGHTS ARE ARRANGED IN A WAY TO BE MISTAKEN FOR APCH LIGHTS. IN A LOW APCH THESE COULD BE MISTAKEN FOR ARPT ENVIRONMENT. LIGHTS NEED TO BE SHADED.
