Narrative:

I was on a flight following from gpi to pae. Checked WX on aviationweather.government and reported pae as clear. Took off from gpi -- it was clear and clear all the way until I crested the cascades and pae was socked in. I was getting ready to turn around and head to eat and was asked if I wanted IFR to pae. I accepted. We got through the clouds and landed fine. I did; however; miss my call sign when talking to ZSE and also was blown a little off my heading which I corrected immediately. The controller at ZSE was very clear with what was wanted and we then called pae tower and got clearance to land. Landed the plane fine.
