Narrative:
Scheduled workload to reinstall right main gear trunnion door since aircraft was flying on cdl with door removed. No log entry was done on aircraft to switch vmo/mmo switch to alternate position. But switching was done after 7 days of flying without door and with an indication problem. Still there is no log entry on complying with the dispatch deviation procedures. Notified my supervisor. Should have better and clear documentation with detailed information on what is being done to aircraft. All deviations should be entered on a log page or generate an information placard about the confign of aircraft.
