Narrative:
I followed alternate deactivation procedures; the external power door was tagged. It was my belief that the statement I wrote would cover both the battery switch and the external power door. However; after asking around for others interpretation; I now feel I may have left some unclear wordings. I can assure you the alternate deactivation was followed and this to me is a misunderstanding of clerical error on my part in the words I used.[there were] time constraints; I was trying to shorten my sign-off with less words. After reviewing my statement and asking others; I now feel the words I used were not clear. Maybe I could have someone else review my sign-off before; to help to avoid this misunderstanding. [There is] an investigation [about] possible improper application of the alternate deactivation procedure over past seven months.
