Narrative:
Flying over airport lmo at 8500 ft MSL. I was not listening to the airport frequency. I should have been. Flew into parachutists. Airplane then flew down and tailed me a long way. I'm not sure who it was. I should also have had flight watch to help maneuver me around the parachutists.

Title: A C172 FLEW THROUGH AN ACTIVE SKYDIVING AREA.
Narrative: FLYING OVER ARPT LMO AT 8500 FT MSL. I WAS NOT LISTENING TO THE ARPT FREQ. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN. FLEW INTO PARACHUTISTS. AIRPLANE THEN FLEW DOWN AND TAILED ME A LONG WAY. I'M NOT SURE WHO IT WAS. I SHOULD ALSO HAVE HAD FLT WATCH TO HELP MANEUVER ME AROUND THE PARACHUTISTS.
