Narrative:
At FL360 and at tops of convective activity; had to descend to maintain airspeed. Received clearance to maintain FL350 and then received additional clearance to FL340. Flight continued to destination. Supplemental information from acn 802101: had difficulty raising ATC on radio during the initial descent needed to maintain airspeed.
