Primary Problem | Flight Crew Human Performance |
Narrative:
Ground control issued clearance to ramp via txwys east; B and a. I exited taxiway B onto runway 19L and was told to make a left turn onto taxiway J to taxiway a. Despite having a commercial airport diagram in my lap I made this mistake. Although signage at ccr is appropriate; it is minimal and in 30 yrs of flying have always had problems at this airport. Other pilots have also made comments to the same. Please check to see if additional signage would help alleviate ccr's problem with taxiing.

DESPITE HAVING A COMMERCIAL ARPT DIAGRAM IN MY LAP I MADE THIS MISTAKE. ALTHOUGH SIGNAGE AT CCR IS APPROPRIATE; IT IS MINIMAL AND IN 30 YRS OF FLYING HAVE ALWAYS HAD PROBS AT THIS ARPT.
