Narrative:

Filed route was: WEVIC1 bce GRNPA1. The cleared route was: WEVIC1 ksino GRNPA1. I noted the 'nonstandard route' on the release as well as the revised clearance per ACARS. However; in looking at the STAR; I noticed the waypoint ksino being common to both clrncs; and assumed a case where although 2 clrncs are worded using different waypoint; they are in fact the exact same route (which happens). My mistake was failing to notice that the WEVIC1 does in fact have a ksino transition making it a different route. I left the FMC programmed via the filed route; and ATC later questioned us. Ultimately; I simply made a mistake. It surprised me since I thought I paid particular attention to making sure the route was correct on this flight. Just need to pay even more attention.

Title: FLT CREW MISINTERPRETS PDC AND DOES NOT CORRECTLY LOAD A ROUTE THAT CONSISTS OF ONLY A SID AND A STAR.

Narrative: FILED RTE WAS: WEVIC1 BCE GRNPA1. THE CLRED RTE WAS: WEVIC1 KSINO GRNPA1. I NOTED THE 'NONSTANDARD RTE' ON THE RELEASE AS WELL AS THE REVISED CLRNC PER ACARS. HOWEVER; IN LOOKING AT THE STAR; I NOTICED THE WAYPOINT KSINO BEING COMMON TO BOTH CLRNCS; AND ASSUMED A CASE WHERE ALTHOUGH 2 CLRNCS ARE WORDED USING DIFFERENT WAYPOINT; THEY ARE IN FACT THE EXACT SAME RTE (WHICH HAPPENS). MY MISTAKE WAS FAILING TO NOTICE THAT THE WEVIC1 DOES IN FACT HAVE A KSINO TRANSITION MAKING IT A DIFFERENT RTE. I LEFT THE FMC PROGRAMMED VIA THE FILED RTE; AND ATC LATER QUESTIONED US. ULTIMATELY; I SIMPLY MADE A MISTAKE. IT SURPRISED ME SINCE I THOUGHT I PAID PARTICULAR ATTN TO MAKING SURE THE RTE WAS CORRECT ON THIS FLT. JUST NEED TO PAY EVEN MORE ATTN.
