Narrative:

Leading edge flap transit light came on at cruise altitude of FL350. Could not see if flap was actually extended from cockpit. Followed QRH; descended to FL200; slowed to 210 KTS; extended the flaps to 1 degree; then up -- light still illuminated. Continued to ZZZ via QRH requirements and landed safely. Captain's write-up mistakenly sounded like we extended flaps at FL350. Did not catch this; but was informed later. Just to clarify; we did descend to FL200 via the QRH instructions.
