Narrative:

I had no knowledge that the part was borrowed; or any idea that the part was a borrowed part. I changed out an hgs computer on aircraft X log page entry with correct part number and upgraded the aircraft afterwards log page entry. But now it turns out that the part I installed on the aircraft was a borrowed part; which I had no knowledge of when I installed the hgs computer. Maintenance control; my lead; my supervisor; the part; nor the aircraft paperwork informed me to the fact that the part was borrowed. So in the end; I did not make a borrowed part log page entry and I upgraded the aircraft with a borrowed part.
