Narrative:
Feedback about new mandatory callouts of 'below maximum flap speed' during flap extension. On virtually every flight; the callouts blocks or at least conflict with communication with tower. Multiple times in the last month; my landing clearance was blocked by the callout. In perhaps the most critical phase of flight; the approach; we now have 5 distracting callouts. I recommend a sticker or placard surrounding the airspeed indicator annotating the maximum speeds in lieu of callouts. I even think it would be better for the PF to call out the flap speed; if a callout must be made.
