Narrative:
On takeoff roll at rollout speed; we got an 'anti-skid' caution message. It flashed just as we rolled out and went out as soon as we were airborne. Once we passed 10000 ft I reviewed the maintenance log. There was a history of 'anti-skid' write-ups. I contacted maintenance control ZZZ and operations. After confirming; it was decided/requested; that we return to ZZZ; and use the longest runway. Operations gave us landing data for a complete anti-skid failure. We requested a return to ZZZ with ATC. I declared an emergency. Data indicated we needed 5000 ft of runway. I chose ZZZ 11000 ft. A normal approach and landing were made. We did not get an 'anti-skid' caution. No further assistance was required from crash fire rescue equipment. We proceeded to the gate.
